Watch: American workers gained 2 million jobs under Trump

American-born workers have gained more than 2 million jobs since President Donald Trump took office in January, while foreign-born workers have lost 543,000 jobs.

That’s according to the June jobs report, which highlights how Trump’s efforts to combat illegal immigration have affected the economy.

“American-born workers have accounted for all of the job gains since President Trump took office and wages continue to rise,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
