Watch: Kamala Harris silent on who’s leading the Democratic Party

In an appearance on “The Late Show,” former presidential candidate Kamala Harris struggled to answer a basic question about who is leading the Democratic Party. 

“There are a lot of leaders,” she told host Stephen Colbert, who pressed, asking if a specific leader came to mind, but Harris kept hedging. 

“I think there are a lot,” she said. “I’m not going to go through names because then I’m going to leave somebody out, and then I’m going to hear about it.”

Her comments come as polls show Americans are souring on the Democratic Party.
