Watch: Stephen A. Smith explains why Pete Buttigieg is polling 0% among black voters

Pete Buttigieg may be leading among likely Democratic primary voters ahead of the 2028 presidential election, but he has zero support among black voters, according to a new poll.

When asked why that is, Stephen A. Smith said on Real Time with Bill Maher it’s because Buttigieg “doesn’t move us.”

“You gotta be able to move us, bro,” Smith said. “You can speculate as to why that is – I’m not going there. He doesn’t move us.”

Smith called the former Transportation Secretary under Joe Biden, who also ran in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary a “very nice man, highly intelligent,” but said he didn’t appeal to Black voters.
