Watch: Jazz band delights passengers by playing on delayed flight

Jazz musician Dave Koz raised his band’s spirits and those of the other passengers by holding an impromptu jam session in the aisle of their delayed flight.

“It just was right, and it brought everybody together in a way that was very special,” said Koz, whose band was heading from St. Louis to Seattle when their Alaska Airlines flight got diverted to Boise, Idaho.

A flight attendant noticed the band bringing their instruments on board and asked them to play a song, the Associated Press reported.

“I’ll remember that moment for the rest of my life,” said Koz, leader of Dave Koz & Friends, in a video that has now gone viral.
